Open Access’ Support for UKZN Researchers

 

As part of the Victor Daitz Information Gateway initiative, the Victor Daitz Chair in HIV/TB Research wishes to provide support to UKZN HIV and TB researchers publishing in Open Access journals.

UKZN researchers, publishing basic science and/or clinical research in HIV/AIDS and TB, who have had a manuscript accepted in an Open Access journal with an ISI impact factor of 5 and above, are therefore invited to apply to the Gateway for financial support to publish in an Open Access journal.

Interested persons should email (1) the abstract, and (2) a letter from the scientific journal, confirming acceptance of their manuscript for publication in an Open Access journal, to Ms Tarryn Leslie , Ext. 4763.

Ten articles per year will be selected for support through this initiative.

To date, the Information Gateway has provided financial support for the following three manuscripts published in Open Access journals:
